Description
Original CAROLYN HESTER: SELF TITLED LP. 1962 UK MONO pressing with matrix 1L v 1//420 & 2L v 1//420 on black VINYL with CBS orange/black textured labels. BPG 62033 (CL1796). NOTE there are 2 versions of the UK mono pressing - this is the one made by Philips for CBS, with labels stamped BPG-62033-1L/2L (L = mono). Outer laminated flipback (fold over) picture sleeve in VG+ condition and with just very slight corner bumps (upper and lower right hand) and a couple of very slight creases along the spine and some slight age darkening of rear sleeve and discolouration along sleeve opening- see pictures. Original pvc lined inner paper sleeve - Patent Application No. 40404/61 in excellent condition. Vinyl in VG++ (EX) condition with good lustre and no surface scratches but with some very feint hairline scratches and very light surface scuffing. Labels in NM- condition but with some very slight (almost imperceptible) spindle marks - but with no significant spindle wear. Play tested with some audible background noise - MONO LP played on a stereo cartridge? Overall in excellent condition and VERY COLLECTIBLE - a very nice clean copy esp. considering the age. Will be sent in a purpose made cardboard record mailer with additional stiffeners by Royal Mail second class recorded post to UK postcode addresses. Vinyl will be removed (unpacked) from the sleeve for shipping.
