Description
This is an extremely rare CBC Canada Radio transcription LP of musique concrete/electroacoustic music from Canadian avant garde composers. Never sold in stores and only distributed to radio stations! It is called "Carrefour - musique electro-acoustique" and features works by Otto Joachim('5.9'), Paul Pedersen('For Margaret, motherhood, and mendelssohn'), M.Coulombe St.Marcoux('zones'), Peter Huse('Space play'), Michel Longtin('Le mort du pierrot'), Hugh LeCaine('mobile'), and David Paul('Eruption'). Works date between 1969 and 1972. Terrific musique concrete for fans of INA/GRM, Francois Bayle, Pierre Henry, Luc Ferrari, Nurse with Wound, fluxus, etc.
Cover is VG++ with no seam splits, but it has a sticker and some former radio station letters on the front top left.
Vinyl is VG+ to EX with a few scuffs on side 1/track 1 that does not really affect play too much. A few soft clicks here and there but nothing loud or distracting. So not perfectly mint/quiet, but well enough to be a nice keeper copy. Very scarce and rarely turns up!
North Americans add $8.50; overseas $15. Please disregard ebay post charges - I will send invoice!
Paypal only please.
