Description

Hi ,up for sale is my extremely rare Cat Stevens press release , this original Decca/Deram Records (British) press release was issued in 1966 to promote the singers brand new debut single " I Love my dog" .

This original 1966 document is in outstanding condition ,it is 13" X 8",and as you can see from the photographs there are no tears, writing or yellowing on this press release ,
there is a small amount of minimal creasing near the staple and there is a minor center crease where it was folded for posting to disc jockeys and reviewers .

 These press releases were never commercialy available, they were normally only sent to journalists and radio staions in very small numbers.

This one, consisting of 2 pages, gives a brief biography of the singer and a profile of him.

This is a very rare opportunity to acquire a press release about one of the biggest British acts to emerge from the 1960's at the start of their career.
