Description
This superb album was put together by arranger and conductor John Cameron and featured Alexis Korner and the cream of the British jazz scene including Harold Beckett, Henry Lowther, Kenny Wheeler, Harold McNair and Alan Parker.
The huge jazz rock collective re-interpretated such classics as Boom Boom, Whole Lotta Love, Satisfaction, Living In The Past and Wade In The Water.
I have always seen this album as a companion piece to the albums released by Ray Russell's Rock Workshop around the same time, this just enjoyed better commercial success.
I bought the album at time of release and it remains in near excellent condition as does the laminated gatefold sleeve.
The spine is fully intact and legible.
The record will be sent in a new record mailer with cardboard stiffener and posted by Royal Mail First Class.
