CELLOPHANE SPECTACLE It's Not Unusual/Ain't Too Proud.. 1968 Iowa soul psych 45 Shipping Info   Description RARE 1960's Iowa psych r&b 45: CELLOPHANE SPECTACLE - IT'S NOT UNUSUAL b/w AIN'T TOO PROUD TO BEG, on Spectacular Records, SR6 1968 (8-9006 A/B); great versions of the Tom Jones hit (1965) and the Temptations hit (1966). Released in 1968. This group of high schoolers was from Lemars, IA and played the Sioux City area a lot; they shortened their name to "The Spectacle" in 1969 and had broken up by 1970. I think this is their only 45. You can listen to this on Youtube (channel "Ham Randy").

Condition: VG- (moderate scuffing and some soft scratches, a couple of which I can barely feel; plays through and sounds VG+ with some minor background and a few light ticks; labels have some minor rubbing).
