Description

(1962). VG condition. Scattered very light scuffs and minor rubbing. One lateral scuff across entire "Can You Remember" side. Plays fine there. Still decent gloss. Plays well. Label has some fading and wear. Also a number on one side (see pics).

An EXTREMELY RARE late doo wop record from Detroit. In the venerable KREITER doo wop guide it is listed as only 200 copies pressed

I JUST WANT TO KNOW ON THE GLOSS OF THIS RECORD. IM TRYIN TO ASK ON THE GLOSS. YOU STATE DECENT GLOSS. CANT SEE THE WAX ON THE COMPUTOR DECENT ! IS THE GLOSS BETTER THAN THE WEAR? LIKE IS THE GLOSS STRONGER THAN THE WEAR ON CAN YOU REMEMBER SIDE. AGAIN CANT SEE THE VYNIL,I HOPE YOU CAN GIVE ME THE INFORMATION ON THE GLOSS ALSO THERE IS NO SCRATCHES ON THE WAX. LIKE 60% GLOSS, 50% GLOSS? PLEASE REPLY HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME

RESPONSE: Hi and thanks for the mail. The gloss is much stronger than the wear on both sides. I guess if you want percentages I think it is 70-75% gloss on both sides. Maybe even a little better. It shines good. The playing surface looks and sounds very reasonable. The "Can You Remember" side has a lateral scuff across entire side (a non feeler scuff) and it plays fine there (listen to the mp3). Other than that just little light scattered scuffs like a record that spent some time in storage without a sleeve. I wish the label was a little better. It has been carefully and professionally cleaned.Thank you
