Extremely rare original copy of an excellent album from the piano playing deep voiced bluesman recorded with the cream of the UK’s blues musicians.
Condition:
Sleeve: The usual mid sixties Decca type sleeve mid of thin card laminated ( with Clarifoll!) on the front only.
The front is in as nice a condition as you could hope for. It’s very clean with no tears or writing anywhere, there are some very small and very light creases nothing serious.
The unlaminated rear is in equally nice condition, there’s a little bit of really light ringwear but nothing serious, and odd marks due to handling the rear sleeve thats unlaminated.
The top seam is totally unworn.
The bottom seam is also totally unworn
The spine is also totally unworn, wide and clean with all of the writing clearly readable and the pinched area at the top and bottom still clearly defined.
Record: The disc is also very nice. It’s made of good heavy 60’s thickish vinyl which is very flat. It’s very clean and has retained a nice dark sheen. Viewed under normal light it looks just as nice as anything with no visible marks however when viewed under a harsh lamp there are some light hairlines present, nothing heavy just some of the light marks which are caused by taking the record in and out of the sleeve and are completely inaudible.
The two labels are in perfect condition. Both are very clean with no writing, stickers or tears and very little visible spindle wear. The matrix numbers in the run out grooves are ARL 7061 - 1A and ARL 7062 - 1A.
