On offer here is a MEGA RARE !! 1966 UK original ‘Mono’ LP by CHAMPION JACK DUPREE titled “FROM NEW ORLEANS TO CHICAGO” with John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Tony McPhee, Keef Hartley & Boll Short on DECCA RECORDS (unboxed red labels) No. LK. 4747 with first pressing matrix Nos. ARL-7061-1A & ARL-7062-1A.
Tracks are; Third Degree - T.V. Mama - He Knows The Rules - Ain’t It A Shame - Ooh-La-La - (Going Down To ) Big Leg Emma’s - Won’t Be A Fool No More - Take It Slow And Easy - She’s All In My Life - Poor Poor Me - Pigfoot And A Bottle Of Beer - Down The Valley - Too Early In The Morning - Shim-Sham-Shammy.
Condition wise vinyl is EXCELLENT just the very odd non sounding surface marks and with a real deep shine. Labels too in excellent, condition, just a few spindle marks and some light, what look like moisture spots on side one label.
Cover unfortunately not measuring up to record, full intact, no rips or tears, but it does have handling/ageing marks on back, also previous owners signature. (see scan).
Laminate shows some bubbling (not loss) on front nr. Spine edge. Would grade cover as VG.
