Description

  • An absolute post bop jazz classic and extremely difficult to find stateside. This is Charles' Mingus' eponymous x 5 album with gatefold cover. This is NOT a reissue -- it's the Canadian OG from 1964.
  • Impulse MONO release A-54, manufactured by Sparton of Canada, LTD (see pic #4). 
  • Sparton was the Impulse label used for releases in Canada prior to 1968
  • Cover is VG to VG+ with corner dings, some residue on back (that white paper is not the album cover, it's glued/stuck to the actual cover), some discoloration spots on back, see all photos please.
  • Vinyl G+, scuffs and wear with some scratches, labels intact. Visually graded and I think a nice VPI-grade cleaning will help out quite a bit.
  • Cover has NO seam splits! Presents very nicely!
