Description

Very rare 1963 Impulse Records, original pressing in a thick gatefold sleeve. Mingus's last great 60s masterpiece, incredibly powerful and dynamic sound on the original thick 60s vinyl.

VPI cleaned and play graded, the record has some light superficial marks, but mostly none that interfere with the sound. There are some very light ticks audible for some of the 2nd track, otherwise the rest plays a strong VG+, excellent sound, amazingly clean for its age. The iconic Impulse gatefold cover is in VG condition, there is a fair amount of edge wear and dirt and other signs of ageing visible on the back cover, still looks pretty good overall.
