Description
Rare private released of Charles Mingus’ “Music Written For Monterey, 1965, played in its entirety at UCLA, Vols. 1 and 2”, from a live performance taped on 9/25/65. Two LP set, East Coasting Records, JWS 0013/JWS 0014. Released in a very limited edition, this LP is number 168. This is the elusive second pressing, packaged as a gatefold. One hour and twenty-seven minutes of Mingus compositions and performances otherwise unavailable. Cover and LPs in near mint condition. I avoid reserve price auctions as a rule, but I must break that here in order to protect my investment. Have no fear, though – you should find the reserve reasonable, I hope.

All LPs are packaged securely, with wax separated from cover to prevent split seams, unless the LP is sealed or you request otherwise. USPS media mail shipping/handling adds $4, and insurance is extra. International shipping/handling is $12 (Canada: $7).
