CHARLES RUSSELL "IT AINT EASY / I THINK ILL STAY" 45rpm RARE R&B 1974 Psyche 001
Fantastic single "It Ain't Easy / I Think I'll Stay" by Charles Russell, released in 1974 on Psyche Records (catalog no. 001). This is the original first version that was such a huge tune at the Winter Gardens in Cleethorpes. Seldom seen for sale, this is the far superior take that was later remixed and released on Bionic. Raymond Russell production, arranged by Dave Crawford.
Vinyl is in VG+ to VG++ condition with minor play wear, no scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail or impair the audio. Light surface noise, most audible in the quiet passages, but no skips. Both sides play very nicely.
