- Konvolut CHARLIE CHAPLIN:
• 1 gerahmter Original-Fotoabzug vom 18. Februar 1944: Chaplin lässt sich anlässlich einer Anklage wegen Verstoßes gegen den sog. "Mann Act" im Büro eines U.S.-Marschalls in Los Angeles von George Rossini die Fingerabdrücke nehmen. Im Hintergrund Chaplins Anwalt Jerry Giesler. Geklagt hatte seine vormalige Geliebte Joan Berry. (Der "Mann Act" sanktionierte sexuelle Delikte, die im Zusammenhang mit dem Überschreiten inner-amerikanischer Landesgrenzen standen.) DIES IST EIN ORIGINAL AGENTUR-FOTO DER "ASSOCIATED PRESS" VON 1944, KEIN SPÄTERER ABZUG!! Datum, Details etc. in englischer Sprache finden sich auf der Rückseite dieses 17,5 x 23 cm großen Fotos! (Format des Rahmens: 34 x 28 cm).
