Description

This is an original 1st mono pressing of Mingus "The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady," Impulse A-35.  "RVG" is stamped in the deadwax.  It is in rough, though playable, shape and really only suitable as a starter or filler copy.

Vinyl is in G condition with many scratches, marks and scuffs on both sides, some feelable although nothing is terribly deep.  In spite of this, it plays much better than you would expect, with moderate surface noise/crackle/pops throughout but the music coming through powerfully.  Side 2 plays quieter than side 1.  I didn't listen to every minute of the album, but noticed no skips or locked grooves. 

Jacket is overall pretty clean but has a crease center left, bent upper right corner with paper loss/chipping, dinged upper left corner with paper loss, 1/2" splits top and bottom right, 4 1/4" split top center
