Description

  • Cheap Trick released their fourth studio album "Dream Police" in September 1979 on Epic Records. Its release was delayed by the surprise success of their "Live At Bukokan" album but ultimately went Platinum and became their most successful studio release rising to No. 6 on the album charts.

  • This copy of (FE 35773) is from the First Pressing and is in exceptional condition. The gatefold cover still has its original Factory Shrink Wrap nearly intact and is easily in Near-Mint condition as is the Inner Color Lyrics Sleeve. Please see the pictures, but note the photo of the inner gatefold is from another copy. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by George Marino at Sterling Sound in NYC and this copy was pressed at the Columbia Records plant in Santa Maria, Calif. The Side One dead wax is etched AL-35773-1AF 1S. It also has 2AF etched but it is crossed out and replaced with 1AF on this rare version that also only has Sterling stamped on Side Two.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 42 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
