Description
This particular record seems to be a hybrid of the first and second pressings. It has the deep groove and the matrix numbers of the 1956 pressing on Pacific Jazz, but the labels and jacket are from the 1957 pressing on World Pacific / Pacific Jazz. It appears that they took the first pressings from 1956 and updated the label as it was being released into 1957.

Condition - Some light crackle throughout, with a little distortion during louder instrumental solos. Otherwise, it stays in the background enough for the music to be listenable. Aside from some hairline surface marks, there are a couple of deeper scratches on each side but I didn't hear them on my test play, nor did they cause any skipping. The grooves seem to be deep enough to protect the music. Jacket is completely split top and bottom but has been partially taped. Still attractive cover with some wear.
