Description

Recorded in 1965, this is a 1973 Prestige 7449 stereo reissue of “Smokin’ with the Chet Baker Quintet”. This is one of five LPs Baker recorded for Prestige with this group and one of the hardest to find in top condition. Photos show condition and details of actual items.

Album Description

·      VINYL- NM: Album has never been played. A visual review of both sides shows no scuffs or scratches. Side-1: PR 7449-A, Side-2: PR 7449-2 and “VAN GELDER” stamped on Side-1 in the runout. Vinyl cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process.

·      RECORD LABELS: Green label with black text and blue Trident logo at top.

·      COVER- VG++:Glossy cover. Front and back surfaces show minor age wear. There is no writing, edge wear, corner cuts or seam splits.

·      SLEEVE: Original paper sleeve.
