Description

CHEVELLE V - Come Back Bird / I'm Sorry Girl (UMI 100) Garage from Abilene, Texas, 1965. This is the first version of "Come Back Bird" (not the version on "Texas Flashbacks") -- more basic, less raw vocals than the better known second version. "I'm Sorry Girl" is excellent melodic garage a la '64 Beatles -- don't think it's been reissued. *** UPDATE: "The Askel 45 is from July 65. The UMI single is from Nov'65. Therefore the Askel reverb'd version is the first one!" (Thanks to Mike Markesich.)

CONDITION:VG minus, label wear, name written on both sides.
