Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1970 first pressing of the self-titled Chicago double-LP, on Columbia KGP-24… actually their second album, counting the Chicago Transit Authority album as their first. This was the first where they were just called Chicago, and is only called Chicago II unofficially in hindsight. Anyhow you all know that stuff. What’s important is that this is a spectacularly beautiful copy. The discs are both just about perfectly mint and play flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover is likewise nearly pristine, with very little wear at all. Very minor corner wear, but really barely, and a very faint ring, but also barely. No seam splits or anything like that. Really crisp and clean and just gorgeous. The poster is pristine as well. A truly top, top copy. I hardly ever see this album in such shape. Hard to top this one.
