Chicken Curry Stereo Discotheque (mfp) Cover EX / vinyl VG+ Another classic Sluzny/kluger production, the hit-squad behind El Chicles, Lord Funk, Nico Gomez, Chakachas & Co. Who still don't have this record? It begins with the superb “Librium”, wich could be taken from a Placebo album. Then it's dope tracks after dope tracks: the bongo and wah wah fueled “Grand Prix”, in a Mohawks veine, a superb retake of “Last Tango In Paris” with a deep guitar solo, the B-Boy frenzy “Drums Go Nuts”, with percus breakdown, the mellow and menacing “The Snake”, another beat juggling favorite with “Chicken Curry” and finally the Jungle Fever sequel with “Malaria Fever”. Do you know a lot of orchestra LPs with more than 5 good tracks ?! Record has a few impressive marks that fortunatly don't affects play at all.
