Description

Auction for "Music of the Chinese Tribes in the Golden Triangle" LP.

Recorded in Thailand by Francois Jouffa

Original 1981 US stereo release on Musical Heritage Society (catalog # MHS 4355).

Truly some of the most out-there, other-worldly music from anywhere on earth. The bizarre music on here -- from remote isolated tribes in the opium region between Thailand, China and Burma -- really does not sound like anything else.

Recordings of the Yao, the Kare, the Meo, the Lahu, the Akha, and the Lisu tribes.

Vinyl is NM (appears unplayed)

Cover is NM- (small sticker on top left)

I grade conservatively on a scale of M (Sealed), NM-, VG++, VG+, VG. I do not list records below VG.
