 This superlative track originated from Connecticut around 1966. With a relentless driving beat emphasized by reverberating guitar, along with tough punk vocals, this one stands out as a leader in the 60's punk genre.  This song was written and arranged in the car on the way to the recording studio in Manhattan. It was the B side of our release on the ABC Paramount label. Tom Brannick on drums, Dennis Ferrante vocals, Gene Pistilli guitar/vocals, Joey Zagarino Lead Guitar, Larry Parisi Bass.  Dennis Ferrante Started his career as a singer in the 1960's in bands "Chips And Company" and "The Swampseeds", has worked as a recording engineer since the early 1970's.  To hear a recording on the internet, go to

M5 191~  1965 New Jersey garage band Chips & Co. 60s garage, beat, freakbeat, psychedelic.  Some of the band did come from New Jersey, the rest from Connecticut.

 

I personally know that Larry Parisi had lived in Cliffside Park, N.J.,  because I rented an apartment in a four family apartment house that his mother owned. I was there in 1965 when I received the record that I am now selling. I have been the only owner of this 45rpm record, and it has mostly been stored in a box it’s whole life.

 

  Item Description:  The condition is - ( MN –) BOTH SIDES PLAY GREAT ON MY TURNTABLE BUT MIGHT PLAY BETTER OR WORSE ON YOURS,  NO SKIPPING.  This 45 60'S GARAGE BEAT, and hard to find in this condition, is a Classic. PLEASE RELY ON PHOTOS FOR LABEL CONDITION AS THIS IS THE RECORD YOU ARE BIDDING ON AND WILL RECEIVE.      

 All records come with sleeves, unless otherwise specified. I try to match company sleeves to records whenever possible.
