Another rare Bollywood gem: R.D. Burman's score to the cult B-movie CHOR POLICE (meaning "THIEF POLICE"). Contains two psyched-out tracks with the best of Burman's moog sounds and syncopated rhythms, both sung very Bollywoodish by Asha Bhosle. The opening track starts off with kick-ass intro with weird synths and echoing flute, gong & the reverbed voice of Asha, and goes into great orientalistic stuff. The second track is from the tribal Indian family, with black painted cannibals crowding the place hollering and beating primevil drums. Cool stuff, and of the best covers ever!
