CHRIS HARWOOD - NICE TO MEET MISS CHRISTINE (one of the most sought after UK prog albums at the minute, always been really rare, issue on the tiny BIRTH label in the early 70's, Great female vocals, stoned intense cuts, originals and a couple of covers - amazing version of FIRE'S "Flies Like A Bird), also features Dave Lambert from the Strawbs, and Peter York, John Morgan etc. This was promo issue - they had no white labels so a normal issue was used and the scratched off the usual labels to make it white ! then wrote the name and "PROMO" on it.)

COVER VG+ (non laminated textured sleeve so got a bit dirty over the last 30 years but with care will clean up nicely, please note I have deliberatly not cleaned up the photo's of the cover - it actually looks much better in normal light !)

 PLAY GRADING

Most albums are cleaned on a professional VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine to remove any debris hidden in the grooves (This is done purely by suction and not with any “surface treatments”). Then they are play graded on a Michel Gyrodeck with top quality Ortofon Moving coil cartridge.

All items are fully guaranteed to your satisfaction.

PACKAGING

When posted the records are removed from the covers and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to stop sleeve splits in the post. We use brand new top quality mailers, either the Envelope style with super thick stiffeners to stop any sleeve bends in transit, or the “cruciform” style that wrap around the LP. We do sometimes recycle packaging (old hippies you see) but only where they are of good enough quality to meet our own exacting standards.

POSTAGE RATES

Within the UK postage rates for 1 CD is £1.50  (then £0.50 thereafter) inclusive of packaging and Recorded delivery, which covers you for insurance up to £25. If you require higher insurance levels please ask and we will be happy to provide it for you.

Outside the UK rates are as follows

EUROPE £2 first LP then £1 thereafter

USA / CANADA £3 first LP then £1.50 thereafter

JAPAN / KOREA / AUSTRALIA £4 first LP then £1.50 thereafter

We strongly recommend insurance for expensive items (over £25 value) – we always get proof of posting for all items but this will not cover you for the full amount if the item goes missing or is damaged by the postal system. Insurance costs an extra £3 (actually it is more but we take some of the payment on)
