Description

TITLE/ARTIST:  Here is one super rare, highly collectible and very hard to find LP - his very 1st - by one of the '60's more popular, teenage heart throbs, Chris Montez - and is yet another album which is, in my opinion, in very good overall condition - although not perfect by any means either. The album - the 1st ever released by this - is on the original and somewhat obscure, Monogram Label (MLP-100), and is entitled "Let's Dance" after his huge hit song of the same title from 1963. The record includes 12 great songs from the group, including the title song and 11 other great rockers from that period of R'n'R music - and all of it in original MONO (see pics above for all song titles). I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, Monogram Label (MLP-100) is nearly perfect with no serious issues at all - I don't even see many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it may have had very little play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is primarily super shiny, clean, and nice, although there are some completely harmless and uneventful surface/paper lines in some places on the vinyl - but these light lines are light and do absolutely nothing to effect the play or sound of this great LP - it sounds great!! Otherwise, the vinyl looks shiny, clean and nice! JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is without doubt the weakest part of this package, but it's not all that bad either. There must have been seam splits along both the top and bottom seams since a previous owner has done a very neat job of entirely scotch taping both seams. In addition, I feel that the jacket shows signs of "aging", there is one ink mark in one spot on the front side, and it also has light moisture lines in a couple of other spots/areas. But, in my opinion, none of this is all that serious, especially considering what this package is to early R'n'R music. But, please check out all of the photos above, and make your own decisions. Thank you! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this super rare, hard to find, highly collectible LP is in quite good overall shape, so have at it. I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too----so please continue to check out my site. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
