At first glance I thought that this was either "Backwood Progression" or "The Only Lick I Know"..Closer examination showed only 3 tracks on the album and a Harvest number which did not exist..(Quatermass is 775 and Deep Purple In Rock 777)..

I know that Spedding made an album which he rejected about this period (It later surfaced as a Japanese pressing entitled "Songs Without Words",though that album has SIX tracks...The long track on the B side of this white label could well be broken down into at least 4 segments,so that would give the 6 tracks).. These white labels are almost certainly the album that Spedding rejected in early 1970....They may even be the ones Spedding listened to before he said "Don't issue this"..He did'nt like it apparently!.

It's really good too in a Nucleus style..I hope to get some sound clips uploaded,but don't hold your breath!.

The Matrix numbers on this are::..SHVL 776 A 2 G and SHVL 776 B 1G..The stampers are 1G on the music sides..The sides with no music have LPFB 2 stamped on the run of grooves..

 It is 2 separate white labels with music on ONE side only..The other side has just a high pitched tone..

Test pressings were done to test the sound quality..Only a handful were pressed,they were never commercially available and were often destroyed once their purpose had been served..

You are never going to find one of these again!...

The discs come in a white paper sleeve..The top left has "Chris Spedding" and "SHVL 776A 2G" handwritten in biro.."14th May 1970" is rubber-stamped..

Two of the four labels have nothing at all on them,the other two have "A" in biro.. 

The discs look EX minus with a few LIGHT scuffs/scratches....There are NO nasty scratches,scuffs or other marks....The A side plays EX minus as there is a little light clicking at the beginning and a couple of pops later on..The B side plays EX++ with no problems..

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..

The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping

All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!

All items are posted the day that payment is recieved..
