Absolute classic "lost" LP. New Zealand's singer-songwriter - and master guitar stylist. Only LP for English folk label The Village Thing. No-one knows for sure how many of these exist, but the mythology suggests between 100 and 200. So this is a super-rare folk LP, it appears for sale once every couple of years, though I'd read the Condition report before making a bid.
(Please note this is not the Chris Thompson of latter-day Manfred Mann fame...)

VISUALLY - EXCLLENT this record looks unplayed, or at least unplayed for 40 odd years.
SONICALLY - GOOD: the playback throughout is crisp and clear, but there is a patina of surface crackles and pops throughout. This is a not just a vague audible quibble - it's definitely there. I have only ever heard this one copy (indeed I've never seen a second copy, ever) so have no real idea how great the original pressing was. It doesn't wreck the playback for me, but that's a very subjective response. Given the look it could be that a professional clean might get rid of some legecy of dust, but my experience teaches me that this is still going to be a "noisy" LP, no matter what.
LABELS - NEAR MINT - CLEAN, NO MARKS, NO ISSUES.
Sleeve:
THE FRONT & REAR LAMINATED SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THERE ARE FAINT CREASES, MINOR INDENTS and LAMINATE LIFT - down the left hand side on the front, about 1cm deep in from the spine edge, clearly visible on the photos I've provided. REAR of sleeve in excellent condition.
ORIGINAL INNERSLEEVE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
