Description
The incomparable Christian Ferras plays the Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn violin concertos quite beautifully on this first pressing ASD classic.
Performed by: The Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Constantin Silvestri.
Record details: EMI ASD 278. Stereo 12" 33rpm LP. Made in England. First Gold / Cream label issue.
Condition of disc: Generally excellent, with one or two minor marks. I have played this disc and in my opinion these do not detract from an enjoyable listening experience.
Date of issue: 1958.
Condition of sleeve: The very solid card sleeve is in excellent condition, as is the inner sleeve. Front has 'gold medallion' stereophonic sticker. Sleeve notes are by W A Chislett.
