CHRISTINE PERFECT - self titled
A nice copy of this seminal Christine Perfect blues/rock gem with impressive stereo audio throughout
Year/Label : 1970 NZ CBS Label number : SBP 473801 Matrix numbers : S7 63860 A1, S7 63860 B1Very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - I am tempted to grade as "excellent" (and I am sure that most people would) but there are just a few small wispy hairlines and extremely faint paper scuff lines on each side (only noticeable upon close inspection under a bright light), each non-obvious, non-feelable, and appearing to be purely superficial, so will stick with VG+, though that is neing conservative. Each label is excellent with the only blemish being a few faint rogue spindle trails adjacent to teh centre hole on each label. Note the absence of the "EMI" box, signifying a very 1st UK pressing. A solid very good (VG) condition non-laminated outer sleeve - the edges are firm with some intermittent mild scuff marks on each, including the spine where the spine text has been partially obscured by some light scuffing. There is a little compression at the top left and bottom right corners, a few non-obvious surface crinkles towards the spine on the front side, and just the hint of some very mild fraying on the front opening edge. The flipbacks are in excellent condition and the only other blemishes (all very mild) are the occasional small light handling/storage mark. In summary still fully functional and eminently presentable but with a few mild blemishes so do take a good look at the accompanying photos. Excellent (EX) stereo sound quality throughout with no sticks, skips, repeats or distortion, just one or two random low level clicks (no obvious reason for any) and background crackle is virtually non-existent. Wonderful tone and crystal clear STEREO audio reproduction throughout with every track a great listen and Christine Perfect's haunting vocals nothing less than exquisite. Comes with original plain white inner sleeve. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. Christine Perfect, later to become Christine McVie, at her most sublime - what a great album!

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 56 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window!
