This is a very rare release of the 1985 WEA, IR0706.   THIS IS A EXTREMELY RARE FIRST ISSUE FIRST PRESSING THAT WAS  WITHDRAWN IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE OF TRACK 11: "THEY NEVER CAME HOME", WHERE AS ALL LATER ISSUES REPLACE THIS TRACK WITH "ANOTHER SONG IS BORN".  THIS FIRST ISSUE WAS WITHDRAWN SO FAST BECAUSE THE SONG " THEY NEVER CAME HOME" REFERS TO THE CHAINING OF THE FIRE EXIT DOORS AT THE STARDUST DISCO IN THE 1980'S, RESULTING IN THE DEATH OF 48 CHILDREN IN A FIRE.  CHRISTY SINGS:

....THERE'S A FIRE IN THE STARDUST THERE'S 48 DEAD

HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN ARE INJURED AND MAIMED

AND ALL JUST BECAUSE THE FIRE EXITS WERE CHAINED......

As you can imagine this track soon got Christy and and Wea threats of Lawsuits and all sorts so it was withdrawn within 24hrs of release not to be seen again.

I ALWAYS GRADE TO STRICT RC GUIDE GRADING AS IT WOULD BE SILLY NOT TO AS I WANT YOU TO COME BACK AND BUY AGAIN SO I WOULD RATHER MAKE YOU HAPPY SO YOU WILL !!!

The cover is superb and most cerntainly very a rare item this is truely a piece of music history and one you won't see very often..The cover itself is superb clean and solid with very light edge wear but nothing more... EX+ !!.....(see photos) 

The vinyl

Despite it been a truely stunning rare item let that not detract from just how truely amazing this lp is itself in a music sense this is a master piece of folk..The vinyl is the first press wea in NM condition it plays perfect and sounds outstanding..You just won't find better and most certainly won't find a better track 11 original release...
