The guy ROCKS! I love every one of his early albums - and this original 1959 black/silver label
CHESS LP … his 3rd release … is high-up on everybody’s list of absolutely must-have R&R icon LPs!
Rock ’n Roll was on fire in '59 … and none of the first wave rockers were more brilliant and infectious as Chuck Berry
… MAN ALIVE! “He alternates innuendo with what would end up being the most influential guitar sound in rock 'n' roll.”
DISC = GOOD Not a near mint copy, LOL! (I have never seen one) - because people
played their Chuck Berry! But this IS a servicable record though covered in marks/scratches
and blemishes, but plays vg to my ears with acceptable crackles & pops here & there.
COVER = VG Somebody blobbed ugly tape on the seams, but with a
little TLC it will look nice … not much wear, lite stains on back.
