Description
RaRe U.S. ORIGINAL pressing of Chuck Berry and His Combo's "Maybellene" 10" 78 with "Wee Wee Hours" on the flipside!! Issued by Chess Records in 1958, if I remember correctly, with the deep groove pressing - this was one of the last, if not THE last, rock'n'roll 78's to be issued by any record company!! ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF A AN EARLY ROCK'N'ROLL 78 I'VE EVER SEEN!! Some if the cleanest labels you'll ever see on a 78 - they look very nice!! AMAZING stuff that still sounds so good and so primitive in its rocking power!! Never came in picture sleeve. Record is in VG+ condition - a couple of surface marks that are not too obtrusive and do not effect play - amazing considering how brittle and scary looking these things usually are!!
