Description
Original Chess LP: matrix stamp: J8OP 3237-1, J8OP 3238-1
Vinyl is in ‘very good’ condition – there is a very light blotch, possibly a pressing flaw, which is hard to see except in strong light but which creates some background noise on ‘Sweet Sixteen’. Other than that there are some small light marks only. There are quite a lot of spindle marks, but the sound quality is very good and background noise is at a low level overall – there are no nasty clicks or pops and no distortion.
The sleeve is also in ‘very good’ condition. There is a small amount of writing on the back and 10cm breakthrough on the bottom of the sleeve. There is a small price sticker in the top left hand corner which I have not tried to remove. The edges show some general wear, including the spine – however there is no break through on the spine and the words ‘Chuck Berry’ can be clearly read.
