EXTREMELY RARE REEL TO REEL TAPE OF UNRELEASED PSYCH ALBUM BY CANADA'S CHURCHILL DOWNS AKA LOVE BUSH!
This album was recorded in Bakersfield, Ca by Gary Paxton in 1968 or 69. Only two 45s(Amazing 3 Label) were released which 3 of these songs were released on the 45s. Meaning 8 of these tracks are UNRELEASED! I got this tape from a man that helped Gary produce the sessions. He told me Gary had made a copy to take home and ended up giving it to him. Which would explain why the box says "GARY PAXTON MSTR. COPY" The album is brilliant! Very Heavy with haunting organ melodies, shredding guitars, drum beats that sound like bombs blasting, an instant classic! It definitely should have been released but it slipped away into obscurity. Churchill Downs does a cover of "I'm a man" by The Spencer Davis Group and "Ostrich People" by another Gary Paxton band The Chocolate Tunnel. This is a very rare chance to own a possibly one of a kind piece of psych history! I do not own rights to this music and I'm not selling it with any rights attached. I've held onto this for a long while and treasured it. Unfortunately financial problems have forced me to sell this masterpiece! Good luck!
