Description

Two great raggy sides by Ciro's Club Coon Orchestra, a black American string band led by pianist Dan Kildare which played at the famous Ciro's Club in London during World War One until the club was closed in 1917. They play 'My Fox Trot Wedding Day' (a superb, swinging side) and 'Poor Butterfly' on 12" English Columbia 660. Not only are these sides of outstanding musical and historical interest, they are unbelievably difficult to find! CONDITION: Good playing V copy, scratches and small dig that passes side 2 (my old copy!)
