Description
Riverside RLP 12-237, “Serenade to a Bus Seat” with the Clark Terry Quintet including Johnny Griffin, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. Heavy DG vinyl plays at VG++ overall. There is a pressing bubble between tracks 1 and 2 on one side that causes a few revolutions of ticks, but the disruption is not significant. The jacket has mostly solid seams with a bit of laminate cracking on the top; there is about ¾” (2 cm) of heavy wear at the lower open corner; there is light age toning. Otherwise, the jacket is quite nice. Numbers include “Donna Lee”, “Boardwalk”, “Boomerang”, “Digits”, “Serenade to a Bus Seat”, “Stardust”, “Cruising”, and “That Old Black Magic”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
