Condition: New (there is a minor ding in the top right hand corner) (I removed the plastic, took pictures, which you can see above, put it in a plastic sleeve and separated the records to prevent seam splits during shipping)
* Limited edition - double album - 180 gram vinyl - UV-coated gatefold jacket
* First time release of the complete score to the rousing Desmond Davis fantasy film from 1981 starring Harry Hamlin, Laurence Olivier, and Burgess Meredith with visual effects by the legendary Ray Harryhausen. The spectacular Laurence Rosenthal score offers incredible sweep, colorful excitement, dynamic action. The original LP featured 39 minutes of music (less than half of the finished score) but this new reissue presents the entire 90-minute score, including rare choral pieces written for Mount Olympus scenes that went largely unused. Also appearing for the first time: the powerful "Two-Headed Dog" battle, the lengthy, imposing sequence "The Quest", plus the entire "Medusa" cue. Yet another new addition is the original (and longer) "Prologue And Main Title". The entire score is presented in glorious stereo from multi-track master elements courtesy of Warner Bros. and the generous efforts of Lukas Kendall at FSM, plus Sony Music.
