This is Classic Records early 180 gram pressings on a single sided 4 Lp set at 45 rpm. These early Classic record pressings are highly sought after by collectors because they sound great and play quietly! This one is RCA Living Stereo LSC 2241.  This is Classic Record's 4 Lp set based on a very rare and hard to find Living Stereo record.  The history behind this record is fascinating:  RCA withdrew this pressing because their rival Mercury released a version of the 1812 which had real cannons recorded on it and the Mercury sold like hot cakes. Which is a real shame because the performance by Reiner and the boys is to die for! A fantastic recording and great performance to boot!  Please do not miss out on this one!
