This is the LP of the famous audiophile favorite by 

Jennifer Warnes 

titled

"Famous Blue Raincoat"

It is the Classic Records 180 gram Quiex audiophile version which is now long out of print, and very desirable. It is on the TAS list.

This was a controversial album since Ms. Warnes and Classic Records got into a contractual battle.  She demanded that all of the albums be surrendered to her, but a small amount had already gotten out by that time. Here is what she said on her website-

"Audiophile" 180g vinyl albums and "24 karat gold edition compact discs" of Famous Blue Raincoat bearing the Classic Records and Rock The House logos are, with the exception of two hundred promotional copies, totally illegal product, produced without contractual authority, not identified and surrendered to Jennifer as required by a prior settlement agreement with Classic Records.

The jacket is in very nice condition with no splits. It has a small bend mark at the lower left corner. The record is free of any marks or scratches of any kind, even under intense light (I use an LED flashlight). The sticker that was on the plastic wrap has been cut out and is included with the album. It reads -

Famous Blue Raincoat. Audiophile, Mastered & Pressed on Classic 180, High Definition Vinyl, 10th Anniversary Edition. 

It also has the original lyric sheet included. This album has been packed away in a non-smoking audiophile home since it was purchased. It is a great sounding album that deserves it's reputation, and this is a great play copy.
