RCA contracted with Decca/London for many sessions with Monteux and the London Symphony, but they never chose to release these two recordings, and the rights reverted Decca/London around 1969. But the performances never saw the light of day until the London Stereo Treasury issue in 1981(!) on STS-15519, which by that time were only being given inferior U.S. pressings. So this is a very special issue!
This early pressing on 180-gram vinyl of the Classic Records issue from the mid-1990's is Factory Sealed.
