Description

Jean Morel conducts the Royal Opera House Covent Garden Orchestra in Swan Lake excerpts by Tchaikovsky, Classic Records reissue of  RCA Victrola VICS 1002 LP. The new old stock 12" 33 RPM vinyl LP is factory sealed. The  jacket with original RCA artwork is graded VG+ with small low right corner crunch. This was recorded in the UK in the late 1950s by Decca recording engineers during the period that RCA and Decca had a working agreement. It was issued in 1958 in mono by RCA as LM 2227. It was not issued in stereo until the Victrola in 1965. Presumably it was not issued as a shaded dog at full price for business reasons.
