We have a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records.   Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of  2/3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers.
We mail all paid orders out once a week on Fridays/Saturdays.  Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule to Monday.   We strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.  We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order.  Please be aware we have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.

Clean old superior British 1965 "FFSS" Decca Records collectible in *stereo* with nice laminated cover.

Out of Our Heads was The Rolling Stones' third British album (released later as their fourth in the United States).

Released in England on September 24, 1965 with a different cover and different, more tracks from the US issue  (the UK cover was then used on the US issue of "Decembers Children")... Out of Our Heads reached #2 in the UK charts behind The Beatles' Help!. It was The Rolling Stones' last UK album to rely upon gritty R&B laced British Invasion beat-garage raves...Early Stones recordings don't get much better than this. The lead off track "She Said Yeah" is one of the best examples of Stones driving snotty edge garage punk, which inspired countless US garage bands spinning out similar punk nuggets. Firmly established as celebrities, the STONES began to use the pandemonium it inspired as an artistic source. Nowhere is the band's initial reaction to fame and music business drama more apparent than in the humorous, mocking "The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man," in which the Stones effectively skewer the sleazier side of the record industry. Naturally, this will always be known as the album that features the original version of "Satisfaction," which would remain the band's signature tune throughout its career, but that's really just the tip of the iceberg.

Equally effective as a Jagger-Richards distillation of rock and R&B is "The Last Time," a tune easily the equal of "It's All Over Now," which the Stones handily played on 12 X 5. Standing out from the crowd is the harpsichord-driven, English folk-inspired "Play With Fire," a menacing minor key song full of subtly expressed psychological violence. This tune, a marked change of pace for the band, hinted at the stylistic variety they would later explore.

"Satisfaction" may be Rock'n'Roll but through it "The Rolling Stones" pay homage to their Rhythm & Blues roots. With songs like "Satisfaction", "The Rolling Stones" were changing their Rhythm & Blues vision and bringing it to the white American music buying consciousness. This adaptation of the Rhythm & Blues idiom into Rock structures would be at the heart of "The Rolling Stones" continuing commercial appeal. "Satisfaction" quickly reached the number one position on the Billboard singles charts.

"The Last Time" was one of the first songs that "The Rolling Stones" created rather than just recorded.
 Keith Richards laid down the rhythms, and then Brian Jones was brought in to intertwine his lead guitar throughout the songs structure. Finally the bass and drums were added to the mix. This layered sound was then matched to "Mick Jagger"'s vocals.
"The Last Time" was the true beginning of the modern "Rolling Stones" recording process.
"Play With Fire" was a great cover song for "The Rolling Stones" and "Mick Jagger" in particular.

 Counting "Play With Fire", there were now only four non-original songs on this album. "Mercy Mercy" was a typical "Rolling Stones" frenetic run through a Rhythm & Blues standard.
This long forgotten gem from "The Rolling Stones" catalogue is an excellent example of a favorite "Rolling Stones" recording technique.
"Good Times" finds "Mick Jagger" bringing his raspy vocal to this smooth song.

CONDITION: The cover: laminated fragile UK cover is VG++/"EX" (excellent) well cared for over some 40+ years; some light lamination scuffing visible upon light relection, a few minor handling creases in lamination which is very typical is all. No seam splits, no writing... still high end collectible...

The vinyl: all very shiny clean...few hard to see minor scuff whisps, otherwise very clean near"EX (excellent) ...upper levels, plays outstanding with vibrant sound clarity that you only get from this type of sixties UK pressing, well superior over the US release...
