Original 1970 first pressing vinyl of the VERY hard to find 2nd album by the MIND GARAGE in great clean condition...harder to find than you might think!
In 1968 Mind Garage, West Virginia's experimental, psychedelic rock band was discovered in New York City's Greenwich Village, signed to RCA, and dubbed "theo-rock" by the Village Voice while inventing Christian Rock, and at the same time rocking fans in nightclubs and arenas. In 1969 the band was asked to play at Woodstock but declined. In 1970, not long after their second album "Again" was released, the Mind Garage simply disappeared without leaving a trace and without renewing their RCA contract.
The 1970 MIND GARAGE "AGAIN" is a very groovy little minor masterpiece record -- and one of our favorite entry in the "rock church" hippies genre, along with Mass In F-Minor by the Electric Prunes! Mind Garage are a bluesy combo with plenty of fuzz on their guitar -- and while side one has them working through some familiar tunes in a standard mode, side two has them really opening up in "The Electric Liturgy" -- a side-long track that's their version of a psychedelic-Catholic mass! The tune really stretches out in Hair-like glory -- wrapping fuzzy guitar, bubbling organ, and rockish vocals around themes borrowed from church liturgy -- but served up here in a really groovy way that often gets plenty boost at the bottom! The rhythms are especially great -- and jamming in places where you wouldn't expect them (especially if you've ever been completely bored through a real mass in church) -- and the record's a much more full-on version of this sort of material than any similar experiments of the type (Mass In F Minor, Release of An Oath by the Prunes). Titles include "Processional/Kyrie/Gloria", "The Lord's Prayer", "Communion", "Recessional", and "Offertory" from the Liturgy

CONDITION: The cover is clean and solid "EX" (excellent)...real clean. the album is hard enough to find, the cover is usually found not nearly as nice as this one. No seam splits, no bends, no writing and very little visual prior use...been in good hands the past 40 years
