Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Nice = Stiff = Clean 1967 FIRST PRESSING IN TOP CONDITION...
The Butterfield Blues Band sparked a firestorm of blues activity by young white kids all around the world. 1967's The Resurrection of Pigboy Crabshaw, Butterfield's third album, saw Elvin Bishop (A.K.A. Pigboy Crabshaw) replace Mike Bloomfield on sizzling lead guitar and ride point for a combo now boasting a wailing backing section led bya young David Sanborn. Stylistically, the band was inching away from blues purism, and moving toward rhythm and blues, particularly of the Stax-Volt variety, as witness the idiomatic take on "Born Under a Bad Sign." (The band must have planned to restructure its grooves into Motown arrangements as well, hence the thoroughly rocked-out "One More Heartache,") Again, the album title, refers to an alias of remaining guitarist Elvin Bishop, who gets plenty of room to work out here, particularly on "Driftin and Driftin'". The extended improvisations of East-West are streamlined here, as cuts like "Driftin' and Driftin'" and "Double Trouble" are emotional, burning blues.
CONDITION: The cover is solid clean and stiff "EX" (excellent) with no split seams, no bends, no writing and bright original colors...44 years old...
The vinyl is all glossy over both sides, M- play graded beautifully ...the gold Elektra labels are both clean too.
