Description

Cliff Jordan and John Gilmore "Blowing In From Chicago" on Blue Note 1549, an original pressing from 1957. The labels have the 47 W.63rd street NY 23 on both sides. (A true first pressing) There are also deep grooves on both sides. RVG and "ear" are etched in the dead wax. The laminated cover is in VG+ condition, no seam splits, small name on back cover, lamination peeling by mouth. The spine is strong and no signs of ringwear. The thick vinyl with the flat edge is in VG- condition, a name on flip label. There are no skips or jumps, but it does play with considerable background noise. Still an original first pressing of a vintage jazz album! No Reserve.
