Description
This is a rare vinyl record of Cliff Jordan's self-titled album, with Blue Note Records as the label. The record is a 12" LP with a speed of 33 RPM, and it was released in 1957. The album features hard bop jazz and is considered a classic in the genre. The record grading is very good (VG), and it comes in its original cardboard sleeve. The sleeve grading is good (G). This is a first pressing of the album, and it is a valuable addition to any jazz vinyl collection.play tested side 1 has a brighter luster with a few hairline marks and a scuff. Side 2 has a medium luster scattered faint hair line marks and 3 barely feelable scratches also a long scuff.SIDE 1 has brief occasional crackle
ALSO ON THE RIM BEFORE IT PLAYS IT HAS A THUMP SIDE 2 in the beginning has occasional light crackle TRACKS B2 and B3 crackling is more moderate overall music clearly overpowers these flaws. NY 23 address on both label in addition CURTIS FULLER FIRDT PRESSING 1960 vg grading for both record and cover blp-1583 first press with the .p ear SIDE 2 track 1 has a heat warp that affects the first half of track 1 that you hear a moderate thump and towards the end of that track you hear a slight crackle. Also the last track on side 2 you hear slight crackleSide 1 plays a VG+ with only a slight pop on track 2. Cover has shrink wrap but has acid burns on the top back edge see photos
