THE SHADOWS & CLIFF RICHARD WONDERFUL LIFE DOUBLE VINYL ALBUM THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IN FACT, THERE WAS ONLY EVER 150 PRESSED AND IS EASILY ONE OF CLIFF RICHARDS RAREST LP EVER AND IT IS 100% GENUINE!!!!

From 1964 on the Elstree Extra Range label comes this extremely rare double vinyl album of the full Sound Stage Recordings for the film "Wonderful Life". Starring Cliff Richard and The Shadows this double LP contains music that was not released on the single soundtrack LP of the film. Only 150 copies!!! of this LP were ever pressed which were given as souvenirs to members of the cast and crew. This is one of the rarest Cliff Richards LPs of all time and rarely comes up for sale.This copy was given to my Father who worked on the film as part of the sound crew, and work very closely with Kenneth Harper.

VINYL

All 4 sides grade as strong very good + condition!!! These chunky 1960's 1st press discs have a beautiful shine & luster to them and are made from nice and solid 1960's heavy vinyl. With one very, very careful play of these records I can confirm that both discs play all the way through with no sticking no jumps and no skips, both just play with a little background hiss and the very occasional pop etc. As above I grade both disc as in a strong very good + and this is no way an over grade !!!!

LABELS

The e.e.r Centre Labels are all in stunning NEAR MINT condition with NO tears, peeling, scribbles and any unwanted writing etc of any sort!!! All text/artwork etc is very clean & bright with no fading or scuffing etc. There is only a couple of the lightest/fainest spindle marks on each side. COVER

The front laminated cover is in good condition. It has a nice strong, solid, readable spine and all text/artwork is clean, bright and unscuffed. There is no bubbling and no major laminated cracks etc. There was little tear at the opening edge on the front which measured approx 7cm but this has been repaired using professional scotch tape (see photo). The plain white un-laminated back is a little discoloured with age (less than you would expect for an album of this age) the three flip-backs are all still in excellent condition, complete, very strong and still well stuck etc (see photo)

INNER SLEEVES

Both records come in their original white die-cut Polly lined sleeves which are in excellent condition.

THIS REALLY IS ONE OF CLIFF RICHARDS RAREST RECORD AND WAS LIMITED TO ONLY 150 COPIES!!! IT RARELY EVER COMES UP FOR AUCTION/SALE (IN FACT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME ONE DID COME UP FOR SALE). THIS MOST PROBABLY IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THIS RECORD AND NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!

WONDERFUL LIFE (Elstree Extra Range) 2-LP, full soundtrack recording, 150 copies only, 1964 £700+

The second special presentation album of the original soundtrack on Elstree Extra Range. Re-live the entire film, without seeing it! Full dialogue and songs. What is special about this is the fact that these were only given as a souvenir to the people who worked on the film, so therefore not available in any record shops. Cliff's fifth film and his third big screen musical starred Cliff, Susan Hampshire, Walter Slezak, The Shadows, Melvyn Hayes, Richard O'Sullivan and Una Stubbs. Has 'With the compliments of Kenneth Harper' (film producer) and 'Not for sale' written on the four sides of the records. No colour cover, but still a unique set and highly collectable.
