Description
eMarcy MG-36102, “Clifford Brown All-Stars”. Clifford Brown, trumpet, with Herb Geller; Kenny Drew, Walter Benton, Curtis Counce, and Max Roach. The sessions are from 1954, the LP was released after Clifford’s death. Deep-groove vinyl plays at NM with isolated ticks here and there – nothing persistent. The jacket is in excellent condition for eMarcy: there is a 4” (10cm) crack in the upper seam at center which could be easily repaired from the inside. The rest of the seams are wear-free, though the spine is age-colored. There is age toning on the back cover as well (see scan), but the jacket back is very clean with no writing or stamps. Laminated front is gorgeous. The two extended tracks are “Caravan” and “Autumn in New York”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $11.75 extra. (Two years ago, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
