Description
CLIFFORD BROWN & MAX ROACH AT BASIN STREET – EMARCY MG 36070 – EX/EX –MONO
Recorded in New York on January 4, 1956, this Emarcy session features Clifford Brown on trumpet, Max Roach on drums, Sonny Rollins on tenor, Richie Powell on piano and George Morrow on bass. SIDE A: WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED LOVE; LOVE IS A MANY SLENDORED THING and I’LL REMEMBER APRIL. SIDE B: POWELL PRANCES; TIME; THE SCENE IS CLEAN and GERTRUDE’S BOUNCE. This is a MONO recording.
I have graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl is clean on any marks except one slight surface one on Side B Cut 1, which does not interfere with play and cannot be heard. There is some very slight wear around the spindle hole. The vinyl still retains it’s original shine. The record jacket is in excellent condition. There is a taped seam on the bottom and the top. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $3.17 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $21.60 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
