Description

This one is the first mono pressing of EmArcy Records MG-36005 "CLIFFORD BROWN WITH STRINGS" by CLIFFORD BROWN. Original Clifford with strings and played romantic jazz standards. Arranged and conducted by Neal Hefti. This one is an original issue from EmArcy Records, released in 1955, not a reissue version by OJC or Classic Records. High quality original pressing. Blue Labels with Deep Groove on both labels.
Artist Line-up Included: Clifford Brown (trumpet), Richie Powell (piano), Barry Galbraith (guitar), Max Roach (drums), George Morrow (bass).
The vinyl played VG on Side A with background noises and VG++ on Side B. No skip or stuck. The vinyl looks shinny and grossly.
The laminated cover is look classy with paper turned brown on back (not dirt but due to its age). No crack, but just only 1 centimeter split at the lower right corner. Spine is intact and readable. Thus, I rated the cover as VG++.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-.
